On Tuesday 3rd March, Sapphire Class enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery to deepen their learning about Ancient Egypt. During a fascinating workshop, the children explored the ceremonies and rituals involved in the mummification process, learned how ancient Egyptians believed a person’s fate in the afterlife was decided, and even had the rare opportunity to handle artefacts that were thousands of years old. Throughout the visit, the children showed exceptional curiosity, kindness and respect, engaging thoughtfully with every activity. It was a truly enriching day for everyone and a memorable highlight of our history learning.
